1326 Lighting Technology

Lighting technology and its use in practice. Radiant quantities and units. Sensors of radiation - basic terms and units. Luminous quantities and units. Thermal radiators and lamps. Incandescent lamps. Discharge lamps. Luminaires and their accessories. Lighting design project - basic calculations in lighting technology. Illumination of interiors and exteriors.

3.  Radiant quantities and units. Sensors of radiation - basic terms and units.

7.  Light sources, luminaires and their accessories.
8.  Lighting design project - basic calculations in lighting technology.

GOALS OF SUBJECT

The subject shows the significant role of light as one of the factor of forming and protection of environment. Emphasizes the necesity of correct selection of lightinf system for specific human activities. With concrete measurements of lighting systems it is possible to verify realisation of energy saving options.
